Happy Tails: Caesar!

In November 2012 I saw a photo on Facebook of a skinny black dog and I went to the shelter ‘just to see him’ with no intention of adopting a dog that day. Needless to say, I ended up adopting him that same day. He came into my life when I needed something to motivate me. Adopting him led me to start volunteering at ACCT the following year. Because of him, I wanted to help other dogs find their forever homes like he had. To this day, I call him my Soul Dog, he was the one that made everything in my life better and he loved me fiercely. Caesar passed away in 2019 and I miss him terribly. I was so lucky to have had him and I wish everyone has the chance to be loved by a shelter dog.
